We comprise three senior sides, 1st XI and 2nd XI playing on Saturdays and a 3rd XI on Sundays Our Junior section presently comprises U9, U11, U13 & U15 teams.

The club has three fully qualified UKCC 2 ECB coaches to ensure the Junior Section receive the development and commitment necessary for them to enjoy playing and participating in cricket.

We are a family orientated club with a commitment to providing members with cricket played in a good spirit, whether it be fiercely competitive or more leisurely - we aim to cater for all.

last night's Committee Meeting there was unanimous agreement to fight the appeal by Elan Homes made to the Planning Inspectorate.

sets out our objections will be sent today.

We need to bombard the Inspector which as many protests as possible so we are asking all of you to send your objections from your perspective as a member or link with Aston CC.

We are also leafletting the local community in the hope that they will campaign from a separate perspective.
It might be useful to counter the appeal arguments made by Elan Homes which can be found at using the reference 14/3053N

All your comments must be sent, in writing, and IN TRIPLICATE to the Secretary,Planning Inspectorate, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Temple Quay, Bristol, BS1 6PN

The deadline for receiving comments is FEBRUARY 13th
There is little doubt that if Elan's plans go ahead then Aston CC would have to close so please send your comments asap to the Planning Inspector.
